Manchester City Fans have reacted to the signing of 16-year-old Peruvian starlet Kluiverth Aguilar with a mixture of excitement
Aguilar, who made his professional debut with Alianza in November, has been heavily linked with a move to the Etihad for several months after it emerged City had identified him as an up and coming talent.
At one point it appeared a deal was done only for that to later be denied by Allianza Lima. Nonetheless, it was clear something was going on. As announced by Peruvian club on Sunday, the two clubs have finally have an understanding in place for the youngster after several months of speculation.
Aguilar, who is considered one of Peru’s most promising talents, will officially join the Premier League defending champions in May 2021, shortly after his 18th birthday.
“Going to [Manchester] City is really big deal for my career, I am happy that they noticed me,” said Aguilar in the Peruvian club’s statement. “It is a club with extraordinary players, coach and supporters. My goal is to become an outstanding player in the first team.”

He goes to the ground too often like Otamendi, his crossings are worse than Walker’s. But then, he’s young and can get better.

I’ve heard good things from him but only have seen him play a few times. 4 games in a youth championship and twice in the first division. He’s a quick RB with good finishing and good defensive discipline. I can’t say much more than what I’ve seen myself.
