‘Definitely has potential, Beast on FIFA 20’ – Man City fans react to Guardiola’s interest in €40m Monaco star

Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that Pep Guardiola is interested in signing AS Monaco defender Benoît Badiashile.

City’s need for a centre-half is greater, with Pep Guardiola and the hierarchy having made the position a priority this summer, after the problems encountered in the wake of Vincent Kompany’s retirement last summer.

With the future of  both Nicolas Otamendi and John Stones in doubt and the failure to replace Vincent Kompany, the Citizens are in need of a dependable partner for Laporte.

Koulibaly and Milan Skriniar have been heavily linked with a move to the Etihad but According to AS via Sport Witness, the Citizens have become the latest club to join the race for the 19-year-old AS Monaco’s Benoît Badiashile.

The report believes Benoît with a contract with Roberto Moreno’s side until 2024 will cost around €40m in the transfer market.
