Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports to yet another update of Sevilla centre-back Jules Koundé‘s potential move to the Etihad.
With less than 10 days of the transfer window to go, City are still working on adding to their two signings of Ferran Torres and Nathan Ake before the October 5 deadline.
The Citizens have been trying to sign Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli for much of the transfer window. With negotiations for the Napoli defender stalling, three different names have emerged in the last couple of weeks: Jules Koundé, Ruben Dias and Giménez.
City were reportedly expected to complete the signing of Jules Koundé following Thursday’s Super Cup clash between with Bayern Munich.
They’ve already seen a €65m bid rejected for the centre back, but every indication has been that they would return to try and secure his signature.
According to Mundo Deportivo relayed by Sport Witness, City are willing to ‘throw the house’ at the Spanish club to make a sale happen.
The young Frenchman Kounde would certainly be viewed as a prospect for the future with his natural defensive talent coupled with blistering pace for a central defender.

It would be better if we can sign both him and Ruben.

Keep Stones. Need the depth in this season with no preseason. Players are gonna be missing left and right with covid and injuries.

Would make sense because fab said this yesterday. If kounde and Dias does come my guess is zinchenko moves to midfield, Ake left back, kounde and Dias CB pic.twitter.com/dxN2VvGv69
