‘Next Sancho’ – Fans react as Dortmund complete the signing of Man City wonderkid

Borussia Dortmund have announced the signing of highly rated England youth player Jamie Bynoe-Gittens from Manchester City.

The Bundesliga side have once again raided the Premier League runners-up, like they did with Jadon Sancho a few years ago

The 16 year old England youth international had his first training session with the club yesterday.

Traditionally a left winger, Jamie Bynoe is one for the future who knows how to use the backline better than anyone else at that age. The winger has been heavily praised and is only getting better.

He has featured twice for Man City U18s and is also capped at international level, having played for England’s U15s and U16s.

In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Chief and Man City Xtra, City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.

No, he didn’t have a pro-contract with City, therefore City is only entitled to a developmental compensation and otherwise have no say whatsoever regarding his new club.

Just so you know Bernardo Silva, Leroy Sane, Mendy, Ferran, Ake, Laporte, Kevin De Bruyne etc etc were youths of other teams. Man City I not the only club that lost its youth, it’s the chain process of how football works.
