Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that Kalidou Koulibaly could end up staying at Napoli as negotiations with the club continue to stumble along.

The Citizens have been negotiating with Napoli for several weeks over their asking price for the Senegalese, with Aurelio de Laurentiis looking to make at least €90m after turning down €100m last summer.

City are reported to already have personal terms with the player but are refusing to match Aurelio de Laurentiis’ huge asking price for the defender. It is understood City had offered as much as £70m, leaving the two clubs apart in terms of the final fee.

According to Il Mattino via Sport_Witness, City’s refusal to deal with Napoli directly is slowing things down, but ‘continuous contacts’ between KK’s agent Ramadani and De Laurentiis mean there’s ‘positive feelings’ about the transfer.

The report claimed that Napoli are ‘reconsidering the idea’ of keeping Koulibaly and then selling him should the right offer come in in January. Unless a deal is done by this weekend, Napoli will scrap any discussions.

In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Chief and Man City Xtra, Many Man City supporters have been expressing their thoughts and opinions. Here is how a sample of the club’s supporters have responded to this latest report.
