Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a comments from Belgium manager Roberto Martinez on Kevin De Bruyne’s potential injury, giving Pep Guardiola another concern to contend with.
De Bruyne was substituted by Belgium manager Roberto Martinez during their Nations League defeat to England.
The Belgium manager however claims De Bruyne asked for the substitution in the second half.
“I would not say that Kevin is injured. He said he felt something. It is too early to know what he has, but he did not feel a hundred percent. It was rather a precautionary change,” Martinez said.
According to Voetbal Nieuws, this De Bruyne’s potential injury may keep him out of Belgium’s next match against Iceland on Wednesday.
Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Jesus, Aleks Zinchenko and Sergio Aguero are all already doubtful to face Arsenal next week. Loosing De Bruyne now will be a huge blow for the Citizens.
