Pep Guardiola is adamant he would like to “stay longer” at Manchester City, despite Barcelona’s presidential candidate vowing to bring him back to the Nou Camp.
Guardiola’s contract at the Etihad Stadium is due to expire at the end of next season, and there have been suggestions that the Spaniard could walk away from the Citizens at the end of his current deal.
This is already the longest time Guardiola has spent at a single club, with four and three seasons at Barcelona and Bayern respectively.
Barcelona presidential candidate Victor Font has expressed a desire to take Guardiola back to the Nou Camp
Speaking on a potential return to Barcelona, Guardiola said: “I’m incredibly happy here, delighted to be in Manchester and hopefully I can do a good job this season to stay longer.”

He is 100% signing a 3 years extension. Man City is the real and only deal. The people at Sky Sport and BT will be so bitter 😂😂
