Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that Sergio Aguero is all set to be part of the squad to face Arsenal on Saturday afternoon.
The Citizens welcomes the Gunners at the Etihad with several doubts over their key players, including Kevin De Bruyne, Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling.
The Argentine striker is yet to play for Guardiola’s side this season due to a knee injury. Raheem Sterling withdrew from the England squad for the recent internationals due to a hamstring injury and Kevin De Bruyne a doubt after leaving the Belgium squad with unspecified fitness problem.
The lack of a recognised centre-forward has been a major issue, with Gabriel Jesus injured and Sergio Aguero only just back in full training after injuring his knee against Burnley in June.
According to TyCSports, Sergio Agüero has recovered from his meniscus injury and is now in line to make a full return to the Manchester City squad against Arsenal this weekend.
The report adds that the only thing missing now is Pep Guardiola’s decision to select the player for the squad as everything seems to indicate that he will ‘at least’ be on the bench for the game.
Taking to social media on Wednesday, Aguero posted an update on his fitness to further boost hopes of his availability against Arsenal.
He tweeted a picture of himself in training, with the caption: “Getting better by the day!”
