Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that shed new light on Sergio Aguero’s Etihad future.
With the 32-year-old’s current deal at the Etihad is due to expire next June, his future has been the subject of speculation recently.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano speaking on a recent episode of the Here We Go podcast, City consider Sergio Aguero ‘important for the future and do not want to lose the player. Inter have never contacted the player’s agents, and there is nothing between the two clubs.
Despite Recent reports suggesting that Inter Milan are determined to sign the Argentine on a free transfer next summer, Romano claims Inter have not made any contact with Aguero’s agents, nor with the Citizens.
An Argentine journalist Lucas Scagliola also claims Aguero has no intention of playing for another club in Europe so long as City want him, and that he is not contemplating a possible move to Italy.
Aguero is yet to play for Guardiola’s side this season due to a knee injury but has recently resumed full training and could make his return against Arsenal in the Premier League on October 17.

This is why he is by far the greatest striker in the history of this game

He’s 32 years old, will be 33 next season. He’s done his fair share of excellent work for City. We need to bring in a number 1 striker next season, not relying on a 33 year old
