Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that claims Manchester City are at the front of the queue of clubs looking to hire RB Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann.
The German has been constantly linked with City should Pep Guardiola leave the club following the expiry of his contract at the end of the season.
There have been suggestions that the Spaniard could walk away from the Citizens at the end of his current deal. City still prefer to keep Guardiola beyond this season but doubts are beginning to emerge over whether the Spaniard is keen to stick around any longer.
According to SportBILD relayed by Sport Witness, the Citizens are ‘above everyone’ in the race for the highly-rated coach’s signature to replace Guardiola, if needed.
The report adds that Nagelsmann ‘will be hunted down’ and is ‘on the wishlist’ of top clubs in Europe.
The City hierarchy are confident that the 49-year-old will extend his contract at the Etihad. But, chief operating officer, Omar Berrada, had said the club would have to look for Guardiola’s successor if he decides to leave.

I wouldn’t honestly mind poch I mean he hasn’t won many things with spurs but despite the lack of backing he’s still done bits with spurs like finishing in the top
4 constantly and also taking them to a UCL final imagine if he gets the backing I think there is a lot of potential— Ali Saain (@ali_saain) November 11, 2020
I think Pep will sign a new contract until 2023, and then we will bring in someone like Naglesmann.

Pep is the coach of City. If Pep doesn’t renew his contract ok but actually is the coach and to be honest I hope will renew the contract. Since Pep say will leave City, have a look for a coach. Now, City have a coach, thats all.
