‘Gonna be the next greatest English player’ – Fans left speechless with Foden’s glittering flick against Iceland

Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden showed us how good he is as he performed an outrageous piece of skill for England against Iceland on Wednesday.

The 20-year-old star scored twice as England beat Iceland 4-0 in their Nations League clash at Wembley Stadium.

Foden demonstrated his huge potential and growing maturity on the international stage, displayed his full repertoire of tricks by superbly taking down a lofted pass on the right-flank with a deft flick beyond the defender.

He then accelerated away, before cutting back on to his left foot and slipping in-between two defenders before trying another extravagant back-heel to team-mate Declan Rice.

The City starlet left fans in awe with that magnificent touch.
