Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims the club is set to offer England forward Raheem Sterling a new contract.

City have made new contracts for Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne their top priority after Guardiola penned an agreement that will keep him at the Etihad until 2023.

The Sky Blues pair who have been two of Europe’s best attacking players since their arrivals in 2015, are currently tied to the club until 2023 at the Etihad.

According to Mirror Sport, City will table a lucrative new deal to keep Sterling at the Etihad as he enters his prime years after manager Guardiola signed a two-year extension earlier this week.

The report claims that Sterling, who is current on a £300,000-a-week contract can expect a significant pay hike, and the belief is that his progress made working under Pep Guardiola has not yet reached its ceiling.

The report adds that De Bruyne’s future appears to be straight forward after the Belgian made it clear during initial negotiations that he is happy with the club and the terms of a new £350,000-a-week deal that will run until 2025.

In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by Man City Xtra and City Chief, Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
