Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy is back in training, the Frenchman has revealed, as he answered questions from fans on social media about his long-term future at the club.
Mendy has been out since the October international break with yet another injury, missing the last seven games.
The left-back, 26, had started all of City’s five matches before a muscle problem kept him out of the win over Arsenal.
During an Instagram story Q&A on Monday evening, Benjamin Mendy confirmed to supporters that he has “started again” on the pitch and that “everything is going well” in terms of his recovery from injury.

How long will he stay fit before the next injury. Talented but too injury prone.

We’ve been backing him up for years, at this point we’re exhausted. Cancelo has been superb let him be the no 1 Lb

Had so much of expectations from him. Unfortunately his injury didn’t help and never came out as a same player as he was at monaco and the first 5,6 games for us.
