Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that claims Mauricio Pochettino is content to wait for his ideal managerial role.
Pochettino is still unemployed more than a year on from leaving Tottenham Hotspur, despite being linked with numerous clubs around Europe
The Argentine, who was sacked by Spurs last November have been constantly linked with Former Tottenham boss with the future of their managers shrouded in doubt.
Guardiola’s contract at the Etihad Stadium is due to expire at the end of next season, and there have been suggestions that the Spaniard could walk away from the Citizens at the end of his current deal.
If Guardiola is to leave, City will likely look to pip their cross-Manchester rivals to Pochettino. The Argentine is also under consideration to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Old Trafford, with the pressure building on the Norwegian after a terrible start to the campaign.
According to the Athletic’s David Ornstein (via @UtdRobbo), the Argentinian is ‘not on the verge of taking a new job but he is ready, in no rush and is watching and waiting on what is happening at City and other top European clubs.
The Athletic video, via the Tifo Podcast, details that the 48-year-old manager is in all likelihood not on the verge of taking up a new job any time soon.
