Some Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that claims Manchester City are the most serious club who are talking to sign Denis Zakaria next summer.

The 23-year-old has impressed in his three seasons in the Bundesliga with Gladbach which have caught the eye of several of the top six and is also a regular for the Switzerland national side.

He has long been reportedly touted as a target for Premier League champions Liverpool, while Manchester United and Manchester City have more recently been linked.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano on the latest episode of the ‘Here We Go Podcast‘, City are the most serious club who are talking to sign Denis Zakaria next summer.

The report adds that the Citizens are looking for a central midfielder with these type of skills, and that they also have a solid relationship with the player’s agent, Fali Ramadani can only help.

Just a few days ago, a reputable journalist Christian Falk via German outlet Sport Bild claimed City are ‘preparing’ an offer worth €40m for the defensive midfielder.
