Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports of the club’s interest in Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez as Sergio Aguero replacement.
City have an interest in signing Lautaro with manager Pep Guardiola reportedly said to deem the Argentine national team player as the ideal heir to Sergio Aguero, whose contract with the club is due to expire at the end of the current season.
While many quality strikers have been touted by City, none have been linked as much as Argentine Martinez, who enjoyed a brilliant season in Serie A with a record of a goal every two games last season.
According to 90min_Football, Erling Haaland and Lautaro Martinez are top of Man City’s wish list as the Premier League club will go all out next year to find a player worthy of replacing the Sergio Aguero.
The report claims the Argentinian is seen as the most-likely addition and that Aguero has been praising his fellow countryman to City’s chiefs.
The 23-year-old is enjoying an impressive 2020-21 campaign so far for his Italian club, finding the back of the net on 4 occasions in 7 appearances in Serie A.
Lautaro still has a €111 million release clause in his contract with Inter, which runs until 2023.

It’s worrying that they’re only just prioritising a striker……we’ve needed one for a while 🤷🏻♂️

Of course Jesús 🇧🇷 is much better than Lautaro 🇦🇷

The reason why I don’t want pep to sign of he gets lauturo. Txiki and him are so bad in the market. Why go for a average player who isn’t even better then jesus. 5’7 when we team sit deep and we cross 100 balls on to the box then he will realise I messed up.

Halaand was born to score goals city have missed a player like dzeko for years fans have wanted a tall striker who can score goals and wouldn’t surprise me if pep leaves after next season so get Haaland in stop pissing about with second tier options
