Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that claims Pep Guardiola and the club have no interest in Real Madrid midfield Isco Alarcón.
City’s interest in Isco is long-standing. Manuel Pellegrini wanted to bring the playmaker to City and tried many times. Even after his departure, the Club have been linked to him several times.
As per the Sun, Isco who has started just 3 games this season could depart in January to seek regular playing time.
Marca early this week reported that the Spanish midfielder had informed Real Madrid of his desire to leave and the Spanish giants are willing to sell for around £45m, with Manchester City cited as one of clubs interested in the Spaniard.
According to El Confidencial relayed by Sport Witness, City have Zero interest in the midfielder and Guardiola himself has ‘ruled out his signing’ because he is the ‘antithesis’ of the player he is looking for.
The report adds that Pep Guardiola wants signings like Ferran Torres, a player who ‘plays first’ and is ‘unbalanced with his dynamism’, not Isco, who ‘kicks the ball and then sleeps the game’.

why do we always get linked with Isco? literally every upcoming transfer window there’s an article saying we’re interested in Isco🤣

I don’t understand a single thing but thank God you didn’t sign Isco ahead of Torres

throwing shade on Isco for ‘sleeps the game’ whilst the first player he employed as manager was Gundogan 💀

He’s not the same as Isco. Isco is a flair player who doesn’t really work for the team. Gundogan puts in a shift but isn’t that dynamic. Their pretty much opposites.
