Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports of Juventus interest in Phil Foden.

Foden has been hailed as one of the best prospects to come out of City’s academy in years. The 20-year-old has now played in several of the club’s games and his fine performances for them has been attracting the attention of several top European sides.

According to Calciomercato, Juventus are ‘really interested’ in Phil Foden. However it seems that they will have to wait longer before they can lure him to Turin as the report claims it is ‘not certain’ that the Serie A club will be able to persuade him to leave the Etihad.

Report claims that the former English champions are already looking to offer him a new deal and are planning to offer him a contract that will triple his current wage. The club hope that this contract extension will be signed in early 2021, despite Foden currently having a contract until 2024 at City.

Foden looks a huge talent after an exciting breakthrough at the Etihad Stadium, and it would be great to see him continue his development under Pep Guardiola

The England international still has his best years ahead of him, and staying at City seems the best thing for him in terms of making the most of the natural ability he has.
