Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims the club’s transfer target Kang-in Lee has ‘no intention’ of renewing contract with Valencia.

Lee, who is blossoming in Spain. is one of the highest-rated players at the La Liga club, and has already made his senior debut for the South Korean national team.

In 2019, Lee became Valencia’s youngest-ever foreign debutant in the league and he’s now an important member of current manager’s squad, but has reportedly rejected a proposal from Valencia of a new contract.

Superdeporte journalist Rafa Marín in mid November reported that the Citizens have been showing interest in the Valencia starlet and could take advantage of the fact that the 19-year old has two-years left on his current deal.

According to La Razón relayed by Sport Witness, the 19-year-old attacking midfielder has ‘no intention’ of extending his contract at the Mestalla.

Valencia could sell the Korean in the January market to try and get a significant transfer fee for his services. His buyout is reportedly quoted at €80m, and which Manchester City or no club will likely pay a full price.

The La Liga club are still stung by selling homegrown talent Ferran Torres for just €23m last summer and do not want that for Lee.

In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by Man City Xtra, some Man City fans, who are excited by the prospect of a move for the the Valencia starlet have been expressing their thoughts and opinions.
