Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims the club is ‘poised’ to enter the race for Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland as replacement for Sergio Aguero.
With the 32-year-old’s current deal at the Etihad due to expire next June, his future has been the subject of speculation recently, with Inter Milan reportedly interested in signing the strike.
The Citizens have to start planning for life without Aguero, a fact which has been made more evident in the last few months by his knee problems.
According to Jack Gaughan of the Daily Mail via Sport Illustrated, The Blues are set to express their interest in Haaland in the coming months, as a direct successor to club legend, and all-time top goalscorer, Sergio Aguero.
Haaland has a release clause in his contract worth €70m that will become active in the summer of 2022. However, it appears City aren’t prepared to wait and would like to discuss terms with Dortmund next summer.

In reaction to an report shared on Twitter by Man City Xtra, many City fans who have made no secret of their desire to see the youngster join the Blues have been expressing their thoughts and opinions.
Given City’s struggles in attack this season, supporters believe the Norway international would be the perfect replacement for Sergio Aguero.
