Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports to another update on Sergio Aguero contract situation at the Etihad.
Agüero is under contract until June 2021, but can negotiate with foreign clubs in January with less than six months left on his deal.
With the 32-year-old’s current deal at the Etihad due to expire next June, his future has been the subject of speculation recently, with Inter Milan reportedly interested in signing the strike.
According to Sport journalist Jose Alvarez via El Chiringuito TV, Sergio Aguero has not received any calls from City to renew his contract at the club.
Aguero signed for City in 2011 from Atletico Madrid for a fee in the region of £35m, the Argentine has since become a mainstay of City’s success winning four titles, a solitary FA Cup and five League Cups.
Since joining the club from Atletico Madrid in 2011, the striker has managed an incredible 256 goals and 73 assists in 375 appearances for the Citizens (per Transfermarkt).
He became City’s all-time record goalscorer last season (254 goals), in addition to overtaking Thierry Henry as the highest overseas scorer in Premier League history (180 goals).

He’s been hit with so many injuries. The team can’t be without a top striker. Need to move on.

Khaldoon said over and over that it’s aguero’s decision to stay or leave . As a legend , nobody would dare to sell him if he wants to stay

Thoughts
Sergio Aguero is not yet done at the Etihad and still has a lot to offer. A player of his potential is hard to find.
The Argentine showed his class on Wednesday evening, grabbing a goal from the bench on his return from injury against Marseille in the Champions League.
Having him for a couple of years more will be great while the clubs finds a perfect replacement for the Club’s legend.
