Pep Guardiola will wait until Tuesday to decide if Sergio Aguero is fit to lead the Manchester City line in their evening fixture against West Brom.
The Argentine scored 10 minutes after coming on as a substitute in the 3-0 victory over French side Marseille in the Champions League.
But the club’s top scorer however missed the Manchester derby through illness but he could return for Man City against West Brom on Tuesday night.
City have struggled in front of goal in his absence, mustering just two shots on target as Saturday’s clash at Old Trafford ended in a 0-0 stalemate.
Pep Guardiola when asked of Aguero’s fitness ahead of West Brom game on Tuesday, the City boss simply said: “He trained today, he couldn’t train for last two or three days. We’ll decide tomorrow.”
