Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports of another update on Manchester City left back target Nicolas Tagliafico, who is said to be desperate to move to a club in a more competitive league on a bigger stage.
The Argentinian was on the target list at a number of Premier League clubs including City this summer, but they opted to prioritise other areas on which to spend their cash.
Left-back has been a troublesome position for Pep Guardiola for some time, with Benjamin Mendy continuing to struggle for form following his lengthy injury lay-offs.
Despite the fact Ake and Joao Cancelo can also cover in the position, signing a new leftback is likely at the end of the season.
According to Daily Mail, Nicolas Tagliafico will sign an extension with the Dutch giants this week, with an informal agreement that he can leave should a suitable offer arrive.
Ajax wanted around £23million last summer but will consider lower offers to enable Tagliafico to achieve his dream of playing in a more competitive league.

We still do. Cancelo is a right back not a left back. Therefore we only have mendy and zinchenko so we need 1 more good left back imo.
