‘We’re gonna regret this’ – Fans rage as Man City forward targeting permanent January exit

Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that claims the club could sell prodigious talent Jayden Braaf in January transfer window, only one year after the Dutchman committed his long-term future to the club.

The 18-year-old, who joined from PSV Eindhoven two seasons ago, quickly established himself as one of the top prospects in the City academy. But has found himself unselected in the previous five Under-23 team matches, despite being fully fit.

According to the MEN, there is a breakdown in communication between the club and the winger that has led to his future lying away from the Etihad Stadium.

The report claims that after some ‘frank conversations’ between the player and City officials themselves about his progression at the club, the option of Braaf getting promoted to the first team does not seem to be ‘realistic’.

As per a seperate report from Daily Mail, many Bundesliga clubs and and teams in Holland are interested in the young winger, and are following his situation closely.

The report adds that City are open to a loan move next month, although a permanent switch abroad seems more probable, and a fee of around £8million has been mooted with City looking to insert as usual a buy-back clause.

In reaction to the report shared on twitter by Man City Xtra and City Chief, plenty of Sky Blues have been expressing their thoughts and opinions.
