Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that claims the club could Waive Jadon Sancho Sell on Percentage to Sign Erling Haaland.

The Norwegian striker, who has been heavily linked with a move to Etihad, is one of Europe’s hottest properties and his performance in its biggest competition this year could influence his next step.

Despite moving to Borussia Dortmund just twelve months ago, every major European club has him on their radar and will try to win the race for his signature as soon as possible

According to David McDonnell of the Daily Mirror, Haaland is the ‘stand-out’ striker candidate for Pep Guardiola’s side this summer and the Cityzens are willing to go above his £65M buyout clause [active in 2022].

The report claims that the 15% sell-on clause on Jadon Sancho could be waived/negotiated to gain an advantage in the Haaland pursuit. It would be a great deal for all. Dortmund get a full fee for Sancho valued at roughly £120 million and City get their man in Haaland.

Other reports from BBC and German outlet WAZ (via Sport Witness) claims the Bundesliga side’s financial crisis could compel them to sell the Norwegian striker.

According to the reports, Dortmund have already lost €26m in matchday revenue and could lose up to another €75m if they miss out on Champions League qualification — they are currently just 6th in the league.

In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by Man City Xtra, many Man City fans have have been expressing their thoughts and opinions.

Could it be a good deal?
