Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to a post on twitter, which relayed a report that claims Pep Guardiola’s relationship with Mino Raiola will not stop the club from joining the race to sign Erling Haaland this summer.
The Norwegian striker, who has been heavily linked with a move to Etihad as Sergio Aguero’s replacement, is one of Europe’s hottest properties and his performance in its biggest competition this year could influence his next step.
Despite moving to Borussia Dortmund just twelve months ago, every major European club has him on their radar with premier clubs like Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea also credited with keen interest in the Norway international.
According to the Mirror, Pep Guardiola’s relationship with Mino Raiola will not stop Manchester City from joining the race to sign Erling Haaland this summer.
“If he [Raiola] represents a player we’re interested in, it won’t be an issue. The exchange between Pep and Yaya Toure’s agent didn’t prevent Yaya from signing a new contract. Personal issues don’t dictate what’s best for the club,” said a Man City source as quoted by the mirror.
Raiola also fell out spectacularly with Guardiola over the City manager’s treatment of Zlatan Ibrahimovic when he was in charge of Barcelona.
The report however went ahead to claim that the Cityzens have a list of up to five alternative targets including Romelu Lukaku.
Despite all alternative, the Norway international would be the perfect replacement for Sergio Aguero as the Cityzens have to start planning for life without their record scorer, a fact which has been made more evident in the last few months.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man Sky Blues have have been expressing their thoughts and opinions.

I hope it happens for Haaland, though I wouldn't mind Kane or Messi. Lukaku is a huge no from me too.
