Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports to yet another update on Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.
The Norwegian striker, who has been heavily linked with a move to Etihad, is one of Europe’s hottest properties and his performance in its biggest competition this year could influence his next step.
Despite moving to Borussia Dortmund just twelve months ago, every major European club has him on their radar and will try to win the race for his signature as soon as possible.
According to Duncan Castle vis Transfer Podcast, Borussia Dortmund will ‘not stand in the way’ of any potential sale of Erling Haaland this summer, and would hope to get at least €100M.
Haaland has a release clause of €75m in his contract with Dortmund, but that only comes into play in the summer of 2022, when the Norwegian will have developed further and there’s more rivals for the deal.
It’s clear that Haaland is already one of the best strikers in the world, Manchester may be wise to make a big-money move for the star this summer, flexing their safe financial position over rivals that are still being crippled by the Covid-19 pandemic.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by Man City Xtra and City Chief, many Man City fans have have been expressing their thoughts and opinions.
That’s perfect

Yea and promote Delap too cause the way I see it Aguero will find it hard getting to his form again and that is where we bring in Delap cause he will be fresh and ready to fill in.

Aguero has being a rare gem to us at this club. We love you Kun!❤❤😭🙏🏼
Cmon City make it happen. He'd be our first big name player signing

They should. It's gonna take a while before a player like Haaland comes around. If one of the big clubs gets him, he's gone for good.

Well we are allergic to spending over 65m on a player so I’m not confident

This Haaland hype will be over soon when we sign another 30M forward that we plan to develop. Not really sure why people think we’ll start signing big name players all of a sudden?
