Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays another update on the club’s interest in Aston Villa midfield star Jack Grealish.
The England international who is having a superb campaign this season featured on City’s list of potential recruits during the last transfer window.
The Telegraph earlier this week reported that Pep Guardiola remains keen on the Aston Villa’s captain, but it’ll be hard to do a deal for Grealish, who could attract a transfer fee upwards of £100 million in the upcoming summer market.
According to Jack Gaughan of the Daily Mail, interest from Manchester City has ‘accelerated’ over the past few weeks and there is hope a deal can be struck with Aston Villa despite their desperations to hold onto their talisman.
Guardiola is believed to be an admirer of 25-year-old Grealish, who has recorded seven goals and 12 assists in 23 appearances so far this season.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by Man City Xtra, many City fans have been expressing their thoughts and opinions.

Whose he benching then? Foden? Mahrez? Kdb? Bernardo? Gundo?

Surely it can’t be Mahrez he’s done better recently unless he wants to go

I really want him to replace Fernandinho then move gundogan back to a 6

People complaining about this shows their lack of football knowledge. Grealish is an absolute baller and he’d be a total beast with us
