Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that claims Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot is on Pep Guardiola’s list of potential transfer targets.
Guardiola is reportedly a big fan of 25-year-old, who has started to do well for Juventus after a bit of a stop-start time to his career initially in Italy.
The midfielder has been a key player for the Old Lady during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring once and providing two assists in 31 appearances in all competitions.
According to Italian agent Vincenzo Morabito as relayed by Sport Witness, Man City boss Pep Guardiola wants to bring Rabiot to the Etihad Stadium, but a move is unlikely during this summer’s transfer window.
Vincenzo claim City have already asked about the midfielder, who is under contract until 2023, and have been rejected by Juventus.
“He is a transfer target of Manchester City, but he is not going to leave Juventus,” said the agent during an interview with Tuttosport.
City are likely to be looking for a replacement for Fernandinho soon and Rabiot looks like he could be a good fit for Pep Guardiola’s style of play and give good quality on the ball in the central midfield area.
The France international was a key player at previous club Paris Saint-Germain, showing himself to be up there with the finest in Europe on his day.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra and City Chief, Many man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions with so many against the signing of the Frenchman.
Pls not. He would make the team worst.

I’d take 50 year old Fernandinho over him.

Don’t believe this … Rodri playing well at the moment

Rabiot is not city material, trust me. He can’t even hold down a spot in a terrible Juventus midfield. Juve will sell him tho.
