Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is not keen to sell Harry Kane to a Premier League rival.
City have been one of the many top European clubs to have been linked with Kane in recent weeks and the 27-year-old fuelled speculation by admitting he could leave his boyhood club for a team capable of winning trophies.
The England International star is one of the game’s finest goalscorers and has been consistently among the Premier League‘s top scorers since breaking into the Tottenham first team in 2014, winning the Golden Boot on two occasions.
After years of reports linking him with a move away, the rumors may well come true as Kane, who still has over three years left on his deal may actually leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
A new striker has been on the agenda for the club for a long time and City are expected to go into the next transfer markets ready to spend big on a striker.
According to a Manchester Evening News, Tottenham Hotspur won’t consider selling Harry Kane to a Premier League rival unless a ridiculous offer is put on the table.
Last month, the Daily Mail reported Levy had placed a £150 million price tag on the England captain’s head, who is contracted to Tottenham until 2024.
MEN claims Tottenham are confident keeping hold of Harry Kane for next season as they feel it is unlikely a club is prepared to invest a nine figure fee for a striker who will be 28 before the start of next season.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by Man City Chief, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
There's no chance but there is a chance. Got it.
