Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims the club ‘have completed the signing of Brazilian starlet Kayky‘ from Fluminense in a deal worth an initial £8.5million.
City has shown interest in the talented Brazilian wonderkids, and now it seems as though a deal is unofficially agreed to with a plan on when the 17-year-old will report.
Italian Journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed that a deal is ‘confirmed’ with the Brazilian to arrive in Manchester next year and personal terms have been agreed for a five-year deal.
Romano claims a fee of £8.5million will be paid to Brazilian side Fluminense – plus add-ons, which could see the figure rise to £14.75million. It is expected that Kayky will eventually move to City in 2022, remaining at Fluminense on loan.
UOL writes that by Pep Guardiola’s request, Kayky should first work with the academy and then make a ‘transition process’ to the first team.
Kayky has made six appearances in the Campeonato Carioca, which is the annual football championship in the state of Rio de Janeiro and has scored two goals and one assist.
The 17-year-old showed how good he is with a magnificent goal on Sunday Night – and some Man City Fans were impressed and are clearly excited at the prospect of his addition in the coming weeks.
A move to Manchester would be hugely beneficial for the teenager as Pep Guardiola has helped some outstanding youngsters to grow during his career.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra and City Chief, Many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
