Former Paris Saint-Germain, Parma and Hellas Verona striker Adailton has no doubts Fluminense’s Kayky will succeed with Manchester City.
City has shown interest in the talented Brazilian wonderkids and It’s emerged this week the 17 year-old attacker will go to the Etihad next year when he turns 18.
Italian Journalist Fabrizio Romano claimed a deal is ‘confirmed’ with the Brazilian to arrive in Manchester next year and personal terms have been agreed for a five-year deal.
And Adailton believes Manchester is the ideal destination for a truly extraordinary talent.
“He has everything needed to do very well. The big clubs now come here (to Brazil) and take the players aged 16-17 because they still have an acceptable price-tag,” said Adailton.
“Real Madrid took, for example, Rodrigo Goes and Vinicius Junior who today seem old but are just 21 years old.
“You need to understand how much a player can grow, because then you find yourself a footballer who can triple his value.
“Kayky is formidable for his age: he has quality, technique and speed.
“In a team with a coach like Guardiola, who is the number one to teach football and to develop a player.”
A move to Manchester would be hugely beneficial for the teenager as Pep Guardiola has helped some outstanding youngsters to grow during his career.
The Brazilian starlet will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of Lionel Messi, Raheem Sterling, Kevin de Bruyne and co, becoming one of the planet’s finest footballers under the mercurial Catalan coach.
