Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays another update on Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland.
The Norwegian international is one of the most sought-after footballers in Europe and has been heavily linked with a move to Pep Guardiola’s side.
The Mirror last week had claimed Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola’s plans to make the Borussia Dortmund striker the first ever £1 million-a-week player as there is expected to be an almighty scramble for Haaland’s services this summer
According to a report from The Athletic, clubs pursuing Erling Haaland have been made aware of the enormous wage demands of the player which would ‘break wage structures across Europe’.
City will quickly assess whether Haaland is a financially viable option and are to exit the race for his signature should they decide he will prove too expensive, rather than haggling for a lower offer.
Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola and father Alf-Inge Haaland have already held talks with La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid, while Manchester United and Chelsea are also believed to be interested in the striker.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, Many Sky Blues have been expressing their thoughts and opinions of this latest update.

Lets be real, it is not happening. Andre Silva would be a better option in our budget

Can’t see Haaland joining any club over 400k a week.
Sterling is on 300k a week. If Haaland comes in on the same money, I’d hardly say that’s breaking the wage structure. As long as De Bruyne gets paid substantially more than anyone else, nobody can complain.

I sincerely wish he doesn’t come to City if that’s the case. Let him have his money at PSG, RM, or Barca. We can’t throw a wrench at our wage structure. I’m sure a proper striker will come along.

Really wanted him but if that’s the case all of a sudden Isak and Ings and Andre Silva are looking reeeaaallll great players

City’s issue is not really lack of a top striker. It’s lack of good finisher-attackers. Even Mahrez is average or poor at finishing too. What City needs is a very good striker (not necessarily top like Haaland or Kane) and a winger that is clinical. That will change everything.
