Manchester City fans have reacted to Phil Foden’s outstanding performance as the Premier League champions-elect claimed a 2-1 win over Aston Villa away from home.

The home side took a very early lead, striking in the first minute of the game, but found themselves on the back foot come the half-time whistle.

Man City fought back through Phil Foden’s finish to a nice move (22) before Rodri glanced a header home after Emiliano Martinez missed his punch (40).

Foden bagged in the 22nd minute to level the score-line thanks to a brilliant team-goal involving Ederson and Bernardo Silva, who made a lovely overlapping run before laying the ball on a plate for Foden to equalise.

His goal last night, was exactly his 50th direct goal involvement [29 Goals + 21 Assists] in his Manchester City career. No player, before turning 21, has scored [29] or contributed more goals [50] under Pep Guardiola.

And it was his balletic turn, just after half time, which lured Cash into that fateful lunge. A second yellow card for the Villa defender essentially brought a premature end to Smith’s hopes of a second-half rally.

The England International is one of the brightest starlets in the Premier League right now, putting in performances well ahead of his years.

In reaction, some fans of the club took to twitter voice their opinions on Foden’s performance.
