Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims the club’s interest in Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe still remains as they search for a new striker this summer.

The 22-year-old former AS Monaco, who have been linked with a move to Manchester City in the past has attracted interest from across Europe, with Liverpool and Real Madrid speculated to be two of the frontrunners for his signature.

Mbappe’s current deal with the Paris-based club expires in the summer of 2022 – with mass speculation over a move elswhere. 

According to le_Parisien as relayed by Sport Witness, City have retain a ‘desire’ to sign Kylian Mbappé and, along with other top European clubs, are ‘ready to break the bank’ for the 22-year-old forward.

The report claims that Mbappe will consider a number of factors in deciding where to make his next move, including the squad of the club that wants to sign him, strength and weakness of their league, the leaders of the club, as well as ‘their communication and political weight.’

Report from The Metro claims PSG would be willing to do business for a cut-price fee between €120-150million (£102-128m) in the summer transfer window.
