Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that claims Harry Kane will be stuck at Tottenham unless Pep Guardiola’s side sign him over Erling Haaland this summer.

City, who are preparing to part ways with Sergio Aguero this summer, have been heavily linked with the Spurs centre-forward in recent weeks and the 27-year-old fuelled speculation by admitting he could leave his boyhood club for a team capable of winning trophies.

A new striker has been on the agenda for the club for a long time and City are expected to go into the next transfer markets ready to spend big on a striker, with Erling Haaland said to be the number one target for Guardiola this summer – a move which would almost certainly break the transfer record for the English club.

According to The Sun, Harry Kane will be stuck at Tottenham unless Pep Guardiola instructs the Manchester City board to sanction a £150M+ mega-money move for the striker this summer.

The report claims La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are not interested, while Manchester United will not exceed £90M.

The report further adds that no Italian clubs would be able to finance a move while Robert Lewandowski remains as the main striker at Bayern Munich and with Neymar set to renew his Paris Saint-Germain contract, a reunification between Kane and Mauricio Pochettino is also improbable.

Kane would immediately work in any Premier League side and arguably provide his most experienced and perhaps even finest years, without any need to adapt.

Kane has scored 21 goals and has made 13 assists in 32 games in the Premier League this season but Spurs are still trailing Leicester City and Chelsea FC in the top-four race.

While it remains unknown if the club would proceed with this idea at the end of the season, it is highly likely that Kane would accept the idea of playing at the Etihad stadium.

In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, Many man City fans have been expressing their thoughts and opinions.
