Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Pep Guardiola is planning a radical transformation and shakeup of his Premier League-winning side this summer.
The Sky Blues missed out on the chance to claim European silverware for the first time in their history after losing to Chelsea in the Champions League final on Saturday evening.
Regardless of missing out on this prize, the club’s intention was always to strengthen this summer.
The Athletic report Guardiola has identified Harry Kane and Jack Grealish as his transfer targets and it’s said that both players would be interested in a move to the Etihad, the latter’s availability is still dependant on Tottenham’s willingness to sell.
City’s interest in Kane will come as no surprise given the desire of the England international to chase the biggest trophies in the game coupled with the recent departure of club legend Sergio Aguero.
Securing the services of Grealish may prove more difficult as a result of the 25-year-old signing a new, long-term contract at Villa Park in September.
Both deals could prove costly and it’s been previously reported Aston Villa value Grealish at £100m while it’s been suggested Tottenham, who are known to be reluctant to sell Kane, would consider sanctioning an exit for a fee in the region of £120m.
The Athletic also claims Guardiola is planning a transformation of his side, with Aymeric Laporte, Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling all believed to be unhappy at their lack of involvement and roles.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra and City Chief, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.

Both of them should be in City next season. Grealish can replace Sterling and Harry Kane should be the next number 10

Kane swap with Jesus

Grealish swap with Sterling
Problem solved.
Sterling and Jesus need to be leverage

Guys I like Grealish and Kane but because we have finished Runners Up in the CL should we not be looking for the type of player that would give us that glory. I’d say an Mbappe/Haaland

We can’t screw this up. We need both kane/haaland and grealish. Please. Mendes also if possible.

Considering is one thing, whether it happens remains to be seen.
