A lot of Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a reports that claims the club have set a shortlist of three Harry Kane alternatives as concerns over his fee emerge.
City’s interest in Kane will come as no surprise given the desire of the England international to chase the biggest trophies in the game coupled with the recent departure of club legend Sergio Aguero.
The Tottenham Hotspur star appears to be willing to call time on his 16-year stint in North London for a move to Pep Guardiola’s side, but it remains to be seen whether City will pay such a high transfer fee.
Despite that desire, according to Dean Jones writing for Eurosport this week, Tottenham’s stance on the 27 year-old striker remains clear: They do not intend to sell. Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has reportedly slapped a price tag on Kane that sits well over £120m.
Should the pursuit of Kane fail, Pep Guardiola’s side have prepared a three-man shortlist of alternatives, which includes some of European football’s most lethal marksmen.
Inter Milan’s Romelu Lukaku is thought to be a name on the list with fellow teammate Lautaro Martinez, and Atletico Madrid star Joao Felix.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, Man City fans have been expressing their thoughts and opinions.

I just really feel like we are gonna get Felix… feels like Dias, we have been in for him for years, similarities to how the Kane negotiations could go and the Koulibaly saga too
