Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report to yet another update on the club’s interest in Sergio Ramos.
Earlier this week, Real Madrid released a statement saying Ramos would be leaving the club. The 35-year-old, who has been with Madrid since 2005, will depart at the end of his contract on June 30.
Despite his age and injury woes, the Spaniard will not be short of suitors this summer, with Manchester City, United and PSG being strongly linked with a swoop.
The former Real Madrid captain has not revealed his next destination after confirming his departure, and the battle to sign the defender has already begun with Manchester City and United reportedly set to make an offer for the Real Madrid icon.
According to transfer journalist Ekrem konur, Sergio Ramos wants an annual salary worth over £16million from his next club and a two years contract.

Crazy..20million for a free player and those wages for his age are too much..feels like he is a bit caught up in the past,no longer the player he used to be in his 20s..still good but not 16million wages good

50 mil + for a 35 year old who will most probably spend half his time injured or on the bench. No thankyou…

Manchester City have been named by ESPN as the front runners in the race for the Spanish centre-back this summer.
The report claims that whilst Real Madrid were unwilling to offer him a two-year deal to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, City could offer him a two-year deal to play under Guardiola at the Etihad
Real Madrid signed Ramos back in the summer transfer window of 2005, prising him away from Sevilla during Vanderlei Luxemburgo’s time in charge.
And the Spain international went on to scoop every major trophy during his glittering spell at the Bernabeu, including four Champions League titles.
He was limited to just 21 appearances last term due to injury, making just 15 appearances in La Liga alone.
Ramos failed to end his time at Madrid on a high, with the club missing out on the La Liga title to fierce rivals Atletico Madrid on the last day of the campaign.
And where he ends up next remains to be seen.
