Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims Liam Delap is not ready to become a regular at the Etihad.
The teenage striker was instrumental in City winning the U-23 league last season, scoring 24 goals and assisted 5 in a sensational year for the youngster.
Delap is one of City’s most exciting youth prospects. And next season could see the teenager play more first-team minutes after dominating Premier League 2.
The 18-year-old striker have been touted for a huge future in the game, having already made first-team appearances for the current English Premier League Champions.
According to Stuart Brennan for Manchester Evening News, Pep Guardiola rates Liam Delap highly, but the 18 year-old is not ready to become a Manchester City regular.
In an ideal world, Delap, who will step up to the first-team squad on a permanent basis, will learn under Harry Kane, or another experienced striker, the report adds.
Whether City could go another season without a recognised goalscorer is a moot point, but Pep Guardiola certainly does not want to do so.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man City fans have been sharing their thoughts and opinions.
Nobody is ready until he plays regularly.

Delap is a goalscoring machine at youth level a real talent, i hope he does get his chance but no rush he'll be eased in like Phil was.
