A lot of Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a reports that claims Bernardo Silva is determined to leave the Etihad Stadium this summer.
The former Monaco man has emerged as one of the players who could be on his way out of Manchester City this summer as they look to freshen up their squad.
The Daily Mail earlier this week revealed that the Portuguese playmaker has attracted interest from top clubs in Spain, France and Italy.
According to Duncan Castles of The Times, the 26-year-old wants to leave the Citizens to further his career in another country. Indeed, the report claimed that he expects to change clubs during this summer’s transfer window.
Atletico Madrid have offered Manchester City the opportunity to sign Saúl Ñíguez in a deal in which Bernardo Silva would move to the La Liga champions, the report adds.
Silva has scored 35 goals and assisted 44 more in 201 appearances for City across all competitions, and his existing deal at the Etihad does not expire until 2025.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, Man City fans have been expressing their thoughts and opinions.

Wow. Bernardo man why on earth would he want to leave. He’s literally won every trophy in England and is so important to our team. I honestly thought that he would be a player that would never want to leave

I honestly don’t mind if he leaves and I’m sure I’ll be the only one. We need an actual center mid more so a box-to-box like Saul. Bernardo enjoys playing as a winger more so than midfield. He even said once it’s difficult sometimes because Pep keeps changing his roles
