A lot of Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a reports that claims Barcelona have made an ‘informal proposal’ to Bernardo Silva.
The former Monaco man has emerged as one of the players who could be on his way out of Manchester City this summer as they look to freshen up their squad.
The Portuguese scored five goals and laid on nine assists as City reclaimed the Premier League title and reached the Champions League final in 2020-21.
Bernardo Silva has been a regular at Manchester City and an important player for Pep Guardiola, but Sam Lee of The Athletic says the 26-year-old ‘would like to leave’ this summer.
According to Duncan Castles, the La Liga giant have made an ‘informal proposal’ to Bernardo Silva, and now have to satisfy City’s valuation.
In an ideal world, Manchester City would get a ‘large cash offer’ from Barcelona or Atletico, and use it in their pursuit of Jack Grealish and a new striker, the report adds.
The report claims Barcelona are offering the Cityzens a huge array of players as part of ‘FFP swap’ deals, including Sergi Roberto, Ousmane Dembele, Jordi Alba, Coutinho, Clément Lenglet, Trincão, Sergio Busquets, and Gerard Piqué.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.

Since city denied any swap deals there is no way Barca could afford him

large cash only.

Liverpool got £160 for Coutinho, not a chance we’d accept less than half for a better player

As a city fan I'm always wondered why we sell our top players to other clubs so easy and cheap, common city if any club want our players they pay top money for them,if Bernardo or any other player doesn't want to play for us city then let them go but for what they are worth 🤔

City should be persistent.

Daniel Levy aren't going to let Harry Kane go for affordable price, why should City let B. Silva go to Barca for affordable price?
I don't want him to go, but if he does, we need all the money we can get for the Harry Kane/Haaland transfer.
