A lot of Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a reports that claims Bernardo Silva is determined to leave the Etihad Stadium this summer.
The former Monaco man has emerged as one of the players who could be on his way out of Manchester City this summer as they look to freshen up their squad.
The 26-year-old scored five goals and laid on nine assists as City reclaimed the Premier League title and reached the Champions League final in 2020-21.
Bernardo Silva has been a regular at Manchester City and an important player for Pep Guardiola, but Sam Lee of The Athletic says the 26-year-old ‘would like to leave’ this summer and was ‘crestfallen’ when a proposed move to Barcelona fell through in 2020.
The report claims Silva was left ‘crestfallen’ after a move to Barcelona hit a snag late on despite everything looking set to go through during last summer’s transfer window.
Sam Lee added that the Sky Blues have allowed some players to leave but isn’t sure the same courtesy will be extended to Silva. The 26-year-old is an influential part of the team and has impressed Guardiola with his performances despite wanting out, so it remains to be seen if he’s granted a move.
Silva has won three Premier League titles, one FA Cup and four EFL Cups since arriving at Man City from Monaco in 2017, and he is in contention to start for Portugal in their Euro 2020 opener with Hungary on Tuesday.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra and City Chief, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
Do I blame him? Not at all, sooner or later having too many quality players in same positions gonna lead to this. Same goes with Laporte.

As long as we get the correct valuation, which has to be at least 75 million, I would sell him, unhappy players are no use.
