Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Atletico Madrid have ruled out selling attacker Joao Felix this summer.
City chiefs are long-term admirers of Felix, 21, who joined Atletico Madrid for £113m two years ago and that transfer from Benfica remains the world’s fourth most expensive deal.
He scored seven times in the league last season as Atletico Madrid won La Liga and there are suggestions that he could leave the club this summer.
The Premier League champions are interested in taking Felix to England and are believed to be ready to offer Bernardo Silva to Atletico Madrid as part of a swap deal.
But according to Spanish daily AS via Inside Futbol, Atletico Madrid are not considering selling the player in the ongoing transfer window.
The report claims the la Liga champions are not interested in any swap deals amid suggestions of Manchester City involving Bernardo Silva in a proposal.
The news was shared on Twitter by City Xtra, and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters, who took to the social media platform to share their thoughts and opinions.
