Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Tottenham are keen on signing Gabriel Jesus and Nathan Ake as part of a deal that would see Harry Kane head in the opposite direction.
Harry Kane is a top target for Manchester City ahead of the summer transfer window.
City’s interest in Kane will come as no surprise given the desire of the England international to chase the biggest trophies in the game coupled with the recent departure of club legend Sergio Aguero.
According to the Daily Mail, Players rather than money could be changing hands as Manchester City look to convince Tottenham to part ways with Harry Kane.
The paper says Spurs are keen on Gabriel Jesus and Nathan Ake and they could be makeweights as City aim to land this season’s Golden Boot winner.
Gabriel has been at the Etihad Stadium ever since arriving from Palmeiras back in 2016, often being stuck in the shadow of Sergio Aguero. Even though Aguero has since joined Barcelona, he isn’t expected to be City’s No 9 going forward.
Meanwhile, Ake only moved to City from Bournemouth in last summer’s transfer window, with the former Chelsea star joining in a £41million deal.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.

I’d much rather sterling left then gabby, Ake also feels a bit short lived we could use him imo

Definitely use Ake cos he would actually accept a move to Spurs unlike Gabby

Jesus and sterling are both same type of players give them to Spurs and get Kane and Son thats it.

I’d keep Gabby, his WR and intensity is needed and he’s good as a winger.

Give them sterling and not jesus

Not Jesus please. Preferably Ake if we must

Ake is good but I wouldn't mind him going, especially if we got Kamara who can play CB. Ake + 90 million and you got a deal
