Jack Grealish has left many Manchester City fans guessing, after the Aston Villa midfielder drops transfer hint as he opens up on his career aspirations.
The Villa skipper is one of the players Manchester City is considering buying this summer as they aim to defend the Premier League title and also impress again in Europe next season.
The 25-year-old, who only signed a new five-year deal with the club in September has aspirations of playing in the Champions League and it is thought he is keen to step up to the next level sooner rather than later.
Reports over the course of the past month have suggested that the Villa midfielder has been attracting significant levels following his impressive season and is poised to move to the Etihad Stadium in a massive £100million transfer deal.
The England superstar has suggested he would be open to a move away from Aston Villa in search of trophies at club level.
Speaking to the Sun, Grealish said: “My ultimate goal? It’s got to be a trophy hasn’t it. I want to win either the Champions League or a major trophy with England, the Euros or the World Cup.
“Obviously, the World Cup would be iconic wouldn’t it? But I think the Euros is just as good. And then at club level, to win a Champions League.
These Grealish’s comment has prompt plenty of Sky Blues to react on social media.
