Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has made Gabriel Jesus his number one transfer target this summer.
The 24-year-old Brazilian is said to be keen on a move away after falling down the pecking order, pushed aside by the likes of the wonderfully talented Phil Foden, in Pep Guardiola’s super-strong squad.
Juventus needs a new striker and they have been linked with moves for several attackers ahead of the new campaign.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Gabriel Jesus is Max Allegri’s ‘favourite’ to bolster the Juventus attack should Cristiano Ronaldo leave this summer, but Juve would want him on loan because they don’t have the money to buy him outright.
The links with Jesus come amid speculation that City are looking to upgrade their attack ahead of next season by bringing in Jack Grealish and Harry Kane from Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur respectively.
Jesus scored 14 times this campaign, although he isn’t guaranteed a regular place in the starting lineup for City, especially given Pep Guardiola’s tendency to often field a side without a recognised striker
The news was shared on Twitter by City Xtra, and it attracted plenty of attention from the fans, who took to the social media platform to share their thoughts on the speculation.
And why would a loan interest us? Not our problem Juve are skint and have the begging bowl out

Give them Jesus for 65 mil and use the money for Kane or Lukaku

Shouldn’t loan him out. Still decent for rotation. £60m – take it or leave it

So theythink City will then need to get money from somewhere to replace Aguero our first choice striker and for Gabby our second after giving them for free..they should stop dreaming and wake up

Why don’t we bid 90 mil plus Jesus for Haaland. Dortmund will be happy plus Jesus can stay 1or 2 year and then probably leave to Spain , as Dortmund are a selling club.
