Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Pep Guardiola has asked Chairman Khaldoon to sign both Erling Haaland and Harry Kane this summer.
A new striker has been on the agenda for the club for a long time and City are expected to go into the next transfer markets ready to spend big on a striker, with Erling Haaland and Kane said to be Guardiola’s striker targets for this summer – a move which would almost certainly break the transfer record for the English club.
According to the information of journalist Ekrem Konur, who claims that Pep Guardiola has requested directly to chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak that he wants the club to sign both Haaland and Kane.
Konur continues by reporting that the premier league champions are ‘ready to pay’ a staggering €210 million for the pair – which, given the reported valuations of both men, would still sit far below their respective asking prices.
The feeling is that both Tottenham and Borussia Dortmund value their star forwards in the region of €170 million, meaning Manchester City would be approximately €100 million below valuation.
While Dortmund and Spurs are hesitant to sell, City know this offer and maybe even a bit more could secure kane or Haaland’s rights.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Chief, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.

People believe anything these days. First this isn't possible for 200m. Second these two wouldn't join together, 3rd City don't spend like this. And look at that source ffs

Both of them are 270 million, we gonna sell Bernardo, Jesus, Sterling which would easily give us 150 million and more. So the least net spend is 120 million. Both of them are quite affordable. So this can happen financially but I don’t think is gonna happen in real.

It's just rumours but there's no way in hell City would do that
