Manchester City fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest update from football journalist Fabrizio Romano concerning the club’s pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.

The Tottenham striker’s future remains uncertain with many clubs interested in securing his signature this summer.

City have been heavily linked with a move for the Spurs striker, with Pep Guardiola reportedly making the England International his No.1 summer transfer priority.

Man City are rumoured to be one of the frontrunners for Kane’s signature, and the Premier League champions are thought to be readying a £100m take-it-or-leave-it offer for the England captain.

But Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is reluctant to part ways with Kane this summer and has slapped a staggering £150m price tag on the marksman’s head to fend off potential suitors.

According to Italian Journalist Fabrizio Romano, the premier league champions made an official proposal to Tottenham for Harry Kane, consisting of an initial £100M plus an availability to include players in a deal. Tottenham have no intention to accept, while Kane wants to leave.

Romano claims Raheem Sterling, Aymeric Laporte and Gabriel Jesus would be among the potential players to be discussed as part of negotiations with Tottenham.

Harry Kane wants to play the Uefa champions leaguue football next season and wants to leave Tottenham, but no decision will be made until after EURO 2020, with Man City not giving up as of today, the report adds.

The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra, and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters, who took to the social media platform to share their thoughts and opinions.
