Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims Benjamin Mendy is among the potential options at left-back for Inter Milan this summer.
The Frenchman, who played 20 times for Manchester City across all competitions in 2020/21, is one of the players that are being linked with summer transfer exits.
A number of injury problems have prevented him from ever establishing himself as a regular under Guardiola. The Frenchman struggled for game time this season over the impressive Joao Cancelo and rejuvenated Oleksandr Zinchenko.
The 26-year-old, who will see his deal at the Etihad expire in 2023, is now reportedly open to leave with the club ready to sell in this summer transfer window.
According to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport via M.E.N, Benjamin Mendy is among potential left-back options being considered by the Italian champions as they look to bolster their squad ahead of the new season.
With the defender playing a bit-part role for the Premier League champions last season, there could be a chance that Mendy pushes for a move to play more first-team football.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by Man City Xtra, many Man City fans have have been expressing their thoughts and opinions, with plenty of City fans keen to see Mendy moved on after another inconsistent season with form and injury.
The verdict according to MEN on him was loud and clear with 83% of the Blues who voted wanting him gone this summer.
